Indian budget carrier IndiGo has initiated a probe after it said its official Twitter account was hacked.
"Our handle was compromised @8:32pm on 26 Jan 2017. Our team is investigating the matter. We have taken precautionary actions," IndiGo said in a tweet.
The Times of India reported ‘incoherent’ tweets were sent out on the airline’s official Twitter handle, which has about 100,000 followers.
The offending posts have now been deleted.
IndiGo operates a fleet of 126 aircraft flying to 36 domestic and five international destinations with a 40% share of the Indian market.
