Earlier this year Travel Technology Europe launched a search for five travel visionaries to battle it out on stage to be titled TTE visionary of the future. Following a rigorous search Travel Technology Europe can now reveal that the five speakers taking to the stage are:
• Sam Clark, Experience Travel Group
The five brave speakers will take part in the brand new session – "Innovation 20:18". In Pecha Kucha style, the session will give the five speakers the opportunity to present 20 slides on stage on a thought leadership topic. After 18 seconds on each slide the presentation will automatically move on, meaning the presenter must work against the clock to get their message across. The audience will then have the chance to vote for their favourite presentation and crown the winner.
The five speakers will take on a variety of topics including driving loyalty amongst ever more fickle customers and "autonomous vehicle sightseeing".
Alex Bainbridge, CEO, Uptaste said: "I’ll be taking a look into the future and will be talking about self-driving cars and how they will impact on the travel industry, including car hire, airport transfer, city taxis and vehicle based sightseeing. I’ll also be discussing the concept of autonomous vehicle sightseeing."
David Gabriele, CEO Swayy commented: "Consumers have never been more fickle and margins have never been tighter. I’m delighted to shed some light on ways hotels can adapt to the new reality."
Max Chertkov, CEO, Gimmonix said: "I’m excited to share some new insights about the impacts of hotel and room mapping. With the increasing trend of personalization in the travel industry, mapping is a critical component and needs to become part of the conversation."
David Chapple, event director, Travel Technology Europe, said: "This is going to be a hotly contested and fascinating session. The speakers will have to keep their views to the point and impress the audience with their content and presenting skills. We have found five exceptional people who are raring to share their insights and compete for the title of industry visionary of 2018."
The session is free for attendees to join and will take place on 22 February at 14:40 – 15:20
