Italy extends quarantine rule for travel from the UK
The Italian government has extended the requirement for quarantine on arrival for UK travellers. Originally brought in in June, the rule was due to expire last Friday 30 July but has now been further extended until 30 August.
It means Brits and others who have been in the UK during the past two weeks must undergo a ‘mini quarantine’ of five days. However, Italy will now recognise UK issued vaccination certificates.
