Japan introducing digital vaccine certificates
Japan will roll out a vaccine certificate system which will be accessible via mobile app to aid travel overseas. Primarily for Japanese citizens, it will also be available for foreigners in the country.
Few details about the system have been disclosed yet.
It follows China and the European Union in introducing a national vaccine certificate system. There are also several private digital health apps being developed to help make international travel easier including the IATA Travel Pass and VeriFLY.
