Annual travel event Japan Week is returning to the Big Apple next month for the fifth year.
Managed by Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO), it runs from March 10-12, 2016 at Grand Central Terminal’s Vanderbilt Hall.
This year’s campaign focuses on the regions of Hokkaido and Northern Tohoku, which are known for top class skiing, national parks, arts and crafts, and local festivals.
JNTO will embark on a special marketing campaign in US markets to mark the 2015 milestone of more than one million US tourists to Japan in a calendar year for the first time.
This includes the opportunity to win free round trip tickets to Japan during March on All Nippon Airways.
Japan Week is free and open to the general public and this year will feature food tastings from the two regions, traditional arts and crafts workshops, alongside 30 travel industry exhibitors from New York City and Japan.
