Japan’s ‘Go To Travel’ domestic tourism campaign returning
Japan says it will reactivate the ‘Go To Travel’ subsidised domestic tourism program in January 2022. Proof of vaccination and negative tests are expected to mandatory when the campaign restarts.
It will resume in January if Japan approves new oral medication for Covid before the end of 2021. The Go To Travel campaign was suspended in December 2020 as it sparked a spike in Covid resume cases around the country.
