Jet Airways linking Bengaluru with Singapore

Jet Airways has announced it will connect Bengaluru with Singapore in response to demand from business travellers.
Indian carrier Jet Air already serves Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai from Singapore and says there has been a15% increase over two years in traffic to and from South Indian cities, fuelled by business travellers.
It will deploy Boeing 737-800 Next Gen aircraft on the route.
"Jet Airways is delighted to launch a direct service between Bengaluru and Singapore. The introduction of this new service is in keeping with the growing popularity amongst our guests, for enhanced seamless connectivity between the ASEAN region and India," said Jayaraj Shanmugam, Chief Commercial Officer
"Both Bengaluru and Singapore are popular destinations for information technology, tourism, trade and investment, therefore it was only logical for Jet Airways’ to facilitate the same for the Indian traveller."
