Jet2 brings forward Bournemouth Airport launch
Jet2 has brought forward the launch of Bournemouth flights and holidays to February 2025.
This is thanks to strong customer demand for holidays from newest base, Bournemouth Airport.
It means holidaymakers can enjoy winter sun next year in the Canary Islands.
The original start date for Bournemouth flights and holidays was April 1 2025.
Customers can now book flights and Jet2holidays winter packages in Tenerife, Lanzarote and Gran Canaria.
These services will run year-round.
The additional programme begins as planned from April 2025, with 16 sunshine destinations on sale across Europe and the Mediterranean.
During the summer Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 27 weekly flights.
These include to Turkey, Greece Mainland Spain, Portugal and Madeira
Two destinations – Fuerteventura and Madeira – are exclusive from Bournemouth Airport.
The two aircraft will be based at Bournemouth Airport for Summer 25.
Steve Gill, Bournemouth Airport MD, said: “This is fantastic news for passengers and means even more choice for local holidaymakers.”
