Jet2 launches new Amalfi Coast destination
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays just launched a new destination in Italy.
It marks Jet2’s ninth airport in Italy, with flights and holidays via Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport on sale for summer 2025.
The tour operator has also put a range of hotels on sale across the Amalfi Coast, as well as introducing the port city of Salerno as a brand-new resort for Jet2holidays.
Amalfi Coast flights are available from Birmingham and Manchester airports.
The addition of Amalfi Coast (Salerno) Airport means the companies will operate to nine Italian airports across all seasons (eight airports in summer 2025).
Jet2 will operate weekly from both Manchester and Birmingham from 26 May to 29 September 2025.
Both routes are exclusive to Jet2.
Jet2holidays has also put on sale a range of new hotels located on the Amalfi Coast. These are in Amalfi, Positano, Ravello and Vietri sul Mare.
In addition, holidaymakers can choose hotels in the brand-new Jet2holidays destination of Salerno.
The Amalfi Coast, located on Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, is one of Italy’s most scenic and glamourous coastlines.
“The Amalfi Coast is one of the most iconic destinations across the world, so we are very confident that these new flights and holidays will be a big hit,” said Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays.
