Jet2 launching Bournemouth flights
Jet2 is adding a new Southern England airport base to its flight network.
The company expands its UK footprint with the upcoming launch of Bournemouth flights and holidays from summer 2025.
Bournemouth Airport will become Jet2’s 12th UK base airport.
The tour operator has now put on sale 16 destinations across Europe, the Canary Islands, and the Mediterranean from Bournemouth Airport.
In their first summer of operations Jet2.com and Jet2holidays will operate up to 27 weekly Bournemouth flights, including multiple weekly flights to destinations such as the Canary Islands, Balearics, Turkey and Greece.
It will also fly to Mainland Spain, Portugal and Madeira
Two destinations – Fuerteventura and Madeira – are exclusive to Jet2 from Bournemouth Airport.
The inaugural Bournemouth flight will depart to Tenerife on 1t April 2025.
Two Jet2 aircraft will be based at the airport in summer 2025.
This latest expansion comes just days ahead Jet2.com and Jet2holidays starting operations from Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays’ arrival at Bournemouth Airport will create more than 100 new jobs with vacant positions across flight deck, cabin crew, engineering, and ground operations.
