JetBlue has announced a new route between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood and Aguadilla, Puerto Rico from May 5, 2016.
The daily service will be operated by Embraer 190 aircraft, and reservations for the service are now live at jetblue.com.
"We are excited to offer this newest route to Aguadilla which will give customers more space, comfort and entertainment options than any airline in the region," said Dave Clark, JetBlue’s vice president network planning.
To mark the new route, JetBlue has announced introductory fares from $59 one way.
The carrier also operates existing routes to Puerto Rico from New York and Orlando, and is adding additional flights to Fort Lauderdale from its Boston hub beginning on the same date.
JetBlue now flies to more than 40 destinations from FLL with up to 145 departures a day.
