JetBlue Airways is expanding service at its Boston and Fort Lauderdale focus cities with the addition of two new transcontinental routes.
Starting May 12, the carrier will launch nonstop flights from Boston to Salt Lake City International Airport.
JetBlue also announced a new Fort Lauderdale-San Diego service from June 16, 2016.
Both routes will operate year-round using Airbus A320 aircraft.
"We are so pleased to continue JetBlue’s growth in our east coast focus cities and in the western U.S. with these two new nonstop routes," said Dave Clark, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning.
JetBlue also announced this week it is laying on additional flights to the Bay Area for Broncos and Panthers fans to get to Super Bowl.
There will be an extra roundtrip service from Denver to San Francisco and Charlotte-San Jose, flying out on February 5, and returning February 8.
