JetBlue announces new leadership appointments

JetBlue Airways has announced the appointment of John Culp as vice president of in-flight experience.
Culp steps into this new role after serving as JetBlue’s director of in-flight field operations as the carrier aims to add another 850 new crew members during 2016.
He joined JetBlue in 2007 and has held the positions of manager of in-flight business and resource management and director of in-flight performance and quality.
"Our inflight crewmembers are the best in the sky and each day they bring the JetBlue brand to life. I am thrilled to continue working with our in-flight crewmembers in this new role and look forward to working together to continue evolving our award-winning onboard service," said Culp, who was a former flight attendant at Continental Airlines.
Culp replaces Rachel McCarthy, who becomes JetBlue’s new vice president – talent.
She will lead all hiring and talent development strategy at JetBlue.
McCarthy previously held the posts of director – product development and director of in-flight field operations and during a 25-year career in aviation previously worked for Delta Air Lines and United Airlines in a variety of commercial management positions.
