JetBlue has promised free seats to and from Orlando for family members of victims in the weekend’s mass shooting.

Using the hashtag #WeStandWithOrlando the carrier is offering free travel for immediate family members and domestic partners of those killed and injured in the attack on the Pulse nightclub – the worse mass shooting on US soil.

"This weekend’s events are felt by all of our 19,000 crew members, many of whom live in, work from and travel through Orlando – one of our focus cities – at Orlando International Airport, our Orlando Support Center and JetBlue University," A JetBlue blog post said.

"We want to do our part to help the victims of this tragedy, as well as support the Orlando community through this difficult time."

JetBlue has asked all kin to contact 1-800-JETBLUE for more details.

JetBlue said it will also make a donation to a charity to support victims and their families.

A gunman opened fire in gay nightclub Pulse in Orlando in the early hours of Sunday killing 49 people and injuring more than 50 more.
