JetBlue partners with Silver Airways in loyalty program
JetBlue has expanded a partnership with Florida based airline Silver Airways.
With immediate effect, Silver Airways has been added as a TrueBlue frequent flyer partner, allowing Silver customers to earn TrueBlue points every time they fly.
Also, travelers can book connecting flights between Silver Airways and JetBlue on jetblue.com.
The two airlines first launched an interline partnership late last year, allowing easier reservations and connections between the carriers’ networks via Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers.
Silver serves more Florida destinations than any other US airline and the highest frequency of flights between Florida and the Bahamas.
"We continuously work to improve our TrueBlue product offering and introduce more opportunities for our members and are pleased to welcome Silver Airways to the TrueBlue family," said JetBlue president Robin Hayes.
Silver Airways also has a well-established codeshare and frequent flyer tie-up with United Airlines, along with interline agreements in place with a number of international carriers including Bahamasair, Hahn Air, and All Nippon Airways.
