SINGAPORE – The US$4.5 billion Marina Bay Sands integrated casino-resort in Singapore, due to open in the middle of next year, received 3,500 job applications in a single day last week after it opened hot lines to fill 10,000 vacancies….Singapore now requires airlines to advertise the total airfare price, including taxes and charges, in newspaper and television promotions…casino mogul Sheldon Anderson is seeking to raise US$2 billion in debt finanancing from Asian banks to complete work on expansion projects in Macau planned by Las Vegas Sands Corp.
