Jungle mystery over missing passengers

Monday, 21 June 20103 min read

Two Brits are among a missing group of passengers who were travelling on a chartered private plane through dense west African jungle that disappeared over the weekend.

The passengers were part of a group of mining executives making the journey from Cameroon capital Yaounde to Yangadou in the Republic of Congo. Six Australians, two French people and an American were also on board.

Despite a full scale search by emergency services, no plane or bodies have been recovered since the plane fell off the radar screen on Saturday.
