Kissimmee attractions reopen after hurricane

After Hurricane Milton’s passage through Osceola County, DMO Experience Kissimmee reports minimal damage to tourism infrastructure.
The region’s tourism activities have gradually begun reopening.
Local authorities and emergency teams quickly assessed affected areas and reported the impact on tourist attractions and services were limited.
“We are grateful for the support and collaboration of our law enforcement, local businesses and residents who have worked tirelessly to ensure Kissimmee continues to be a safe and welcoming destination,” said DT Minich, CEO of Experience Kissimmee.
“Fortunately, damage was minimal, and we can confirm that tourism operations have gradually resumed.”
Major tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants and stores in Kissimmee will begin operating following all safety recommendations.
In addition, nearby theme parks, such as Walt Disney World Resort and Universal Orlando Resort, have also announced the resumption of their activities in the coming days.
Visitors are urged to stay updated through official channels to plan their visits.
