La Vera Italia! Trafalgar launches new dedicated Italy book
Trafalgar has launched a new, dedicated Italy book for 2006 which contains15 delectable Italian holiday itineraries ranging from 7 to 17 days in length.
The book offers both first class and CostSaver itineraries ensuring that there are options to suit a range of budgets and styles.
Paul Wiseman, managing director of Trafalgar said, “Italy is one of the most popular holiday destinations among Australians who are drawn by its famous icons and monuments, natural beauty and renowned cuisine.
“For many years Trafalgar has had a diverse portfolio of Italian itineraries as part of our Europe and Britain program. For 2006 we decided to showcase our range in a dedicated Italy book to illustrate the depth of our product to agents and consumers.
“Our Italian program captures ‘La Vera Italia’ (the real Italy) and our itineraries feature highlights such as a cruise by private motor launch along the canals of Venice; visits to the gorgeous historic villages and rolling green hills of the Tuscany region; the ancient excavations of Pompeii; the amazing temples of Sicily and Michelangelo’s incredible masterpiece on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.”
Great holidays in Trafalgar’s new book include:

· The 10-day First Class Best of Sicily priced from $2350 per person, twin share (land only)
· The 13-day CostSaver Splendours of Italy priced from $1999 per person, twin share (land only).
