Labor Day weekend at Campland on the Bay

Still pondering where to make a splash this Labor Day weekend? If in SoCal, look no further than Campland on the Bay on San Diego’s Mission Bay.
There is a busy schedule with family-friendly activities and live entertainment for resort guests at the iconic campground.
Friday, September 2 through Monday, September 5, Campland hosts a variety of games and activities to entertain kids outdoors, giving parents time to relax and enjoy the resort’s idyllic bayfront setting.
Children are invited to get creative at a tie dye workshop, cool off on Campland’s Giant Water Slide, or burn some energy during a game of dodgeball or soccer.
Adults can also join in the fun with horseshoe tournaments, bingo nights, and a bean bags toss tournament.
The holiday weekend of live entertainment continues with Campland Rocks featuring the region’s top tribute bands.
Campland’s activities and amenities are also available to guests camping at Mission Bay RV Resort, accessible via a short walk or bike ride over the Mike Gotch Memorial Bridge.
For guests who do not own an RV, local RV rental companies are available to deliver a sanitized RV to your site, set up and ready to enjoy.
RV rental arrangements must be made directly through the rental companies.
Tent camping is also available at Campland on the Bay
Coastal Commission, Campland also recently launched an unprecedented free camping program for underserved youth and families.
