Sunday, 16 Jun, 2005 0

In an effort to position itself as a lifestyle brand rather than just a Web site for holidays, Lastminute.com is getting into the magazine business.

The company is launching a customer lifestyle magazine targeting its 100,000 customers through a 72-page quarterly publication.

The magazine will have guides and features.

The first issue will be out in mid-July.

The publishing company Zone will oversee the product.

Brent Hoberman, CEO of Lastminute.com, said:

“Our ‘raison d’etre’ is to improve people’s leisure time and this lifestyle magazine which generates idea on how to do just that is the ideal way to give something extra to our customers.”
