Lastminute launches half-price October

From 7 October, lastminute.com is launching ‘Half Price October’, a cross supplier promotion offering products across its travel and leisure solutions at half price.

The company said it is its first promotion of this kind, offering up to and beyond 50% off over 10,000 selected flights, holidays, hotels, leisure goods and entertainment deals to be purchased during the month and taken advantage of before Christmas.

Main travel partners include First Choice, JMC and Radisson Hotels.

Commenting on the offer, head of marketing for lastminute.com Carl Lyons said: “Coming out of the peak holiday season, October is the ideal month to launch our largest promotion to date, offering our customers thousands of excellent value deals. We have had great support from many of our travel suppliers and this is an excellent example of lastminute.com’s creative and effective marketing initiatives.”
