Launch date set for second Maxjet route

Business class carrier Maxjet will launch its Stansted to Washington service on March 17, it has been confirmed.

The four times weekly service to Dulles International will operate on a Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday with an introductory lead in price of £599. Normal fares start at £999.

Flights will depart the UK and 1pm , arriving in Washington at 4.30pm, and return from the US at 7.30pm, arriving Stansted at 8.30 the following morning.

In addition, Maxjet will increase the frequency of its Stansted to New York route on March 18 to a daily service.

Maxjet chief executive Gary Rogliano said: “There is huge demand for an all-business class service to Washington DC and we are proud to meet that demand.”

The carrier operates 102-seat aircraft.
