Le Shuttle celebrates record month

Cross-Channel train Le Shuttle had its best October for passenger traffic for 16 years, carrying 204,049 vehicles through the tunnel.

Since the start of the year, more than 2.3 million passenger vehicles have crossed onboard Le Shuttle.

October was also a record month for freight vehicles, with 152,129 trucks transported, 7% more than October 2017.

Traffic figures for November will be published on December 13.
