Legal bid to end federal mask mandate rejected
A legal challenge against the federal mask mandate for air travel and other public transportation has been rejected by the Supreme Court. Justice Clarence Thomas rejected an emergency request to block the Biden administration’s Covid-19 mask requirement.
It was brought by a man trying to fly out of Florida who says he has Generalized Anxiety Disorder prevented him from wearing a mask. Lucas Wall alleged the policy, was unconstitutional.
The mask mandate was imposed by the Biden administration soon after the President’s inauguration.
