To commemorate its fifth anniversary this year, Legoland Florida Resort has announced big plans with five new projects in the works.
A village-style Legoland Beach Retreat is slated for a mid-2017 opening and will feature 166 keys in single-story duplex units able to accommodate up to five guests.
The lakefront resort will have a themed pool complex, a restaurant and a Lego lighthouse.
The Winter Haven park’s largest ever expansion will also include a new Ninjago themed land based on the popular TV show.
The attraction will have hands-on, interactive experiences along with ‘Lego Ninjago the Ride’ as its centrepiece.
The attraction is being touted as a ‘magical martial arts kingdom to experience eye-popping 3D computer animation, and 4D atmospheric effects.’
Elsewhere, the Lego Nexo Knights 4D: The Book of Creativity becomes the park’s second 4D theater experience and is set to open this May.
The company also revealed the previously-announced ‘Build-A-Boat’ expansion at the water park is now open and a new Legoland Night Lights fireworks show is set to light up the night sky this summer.
