Loganair’s year-round Glasgow-Donegal service takes flight
Loganair’s summer schedule between Glasgow and Donegal has begun, which now offers year-round Donegal flights from Scotland.
The regional airline is the only carrier operating a direct air link between the Northwest of Ireland and the UK.
Loganair’s summer schedule returned at the weekend with up to three Donegal flights weekly from Glasgow for the majority of the season.
The route continues through the winter, with flights on Fridays and Sundays, enabling weekend breaks.
Luke Lovegrove, Chief Commercial Officer, Loganair, said: “We are enabling greater travel opportunities between Glasgow and Donegal, and we expect to carry more customers this summer than ever before.”
“We’re really happy to be maintaining Donegal flights throughout the winter, ensuring year-round connectivity.”
Donegal Airport at Carrickfinn, has spectacular views on approach, and is renowned as one of the most scenic landings.
Loganair has flown to Donegal Airport since the early 1990s.
