Lomani one-stop wedding package for bride, groom and 22 guests
With Australian weddings now costing on average around the $28,000* mark – not including honeymoon costs – Fiji’s Lomani Island Resort has come up with a perfect and extremely cost effective Pacific island wedding solution combining wedding ceremony, reception and honeymoon in the one-stop package.
Now available for bookings until 15 June 2010*, the Mamanuca Island all-suite boutique resort is offering couples and 22 guests the opportunity to ‘own’ their own resort for five nights complete with all wedding arrangements.
This includes all accommodation for 24 people for five days, all a la carte meals and a three-course beachside reception.
The wedding arrangements are based on the resort’s ‘Lomani ‘deluxe’ wedding package.
This consists of a minister, priest or celebrant to perform the ceremony, a bridal bouquet and groom’s buttonhole, the option of four Fijian warriors to carry the Bride to the ceremony on a decorated bridal chair or as an escort and a decorated wedding arch covered with frangipani and hibiscus flowers.
The package also includes a complimentary bottle of champagne to toast the Bride and Groom and a CD of digital photographs taken by the resort’s dedicated wedding coordinator.
The Lomani Island Resort wedding offer is priced from AUD28,700**.
For those with less time, an alternative long weekend package is also available, again inclusive of all meals, all accommodation and the three-course beachside reception dinner and a standard Lomani Wedding Package.
This includes a minister, priest or celebrant to perform the ceremony, bridal bouquet and groom buttonhole.
This second option is priced from AUD15,500**.
*The average cost of a wedding, based on Australian Bureau of Statistics figures, is $28,000.
**Conditions apply. Blackout dates apply.
