Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is teeing up a new international amateur golf tournament with the launch of the first-ever Beachcomber Nations Golf Cup, taking place October 11-17, 2026, at the luxury Paradis Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa in Mauritius.
The 5-star hotel offers an unparalleled experience with its 13 private Beach Villas located on the majestic Le Morne Peninsula, including 4 restaurants and a spa. The hotel is adjacent to another Beachcomber property, the Dinarobin Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa.
The week-long event brings together amateur golfers from multiple countries to compete as national teams in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere while enjoying one of the Indian Ocean’s premier golf destinations.
Each nation will field a 12-player team competing across three official tournament rounds on the acclaimed Paradis Golf Course. Players will earn points for their country in a variety of team formats, with the overall winner taking home the inaugural Beachcomber Nations Cup.
Competition begins with a practice round on October 12 before the tournament officially gets underway. The opening round features a two-player scramble format, followed by a Four-Ball Better Ball Stableford competition and a final Aggregate Stableford round to determine the champion nation.
Away from the fairways, participants will have opportunities to experience Mauritius through leisure activities and optional golf outings at other renowned courses, including Heritage, Avalon, Tamarina and La Réserve.
The tournament is designed to blend competitive golf with the relaxed atmosphere for which Beachcomber Resorts is known. The program includes a welcome cocktail, beach barbecue, social evenings and a gala “White Night” awards dinner, giving golfers plenty of opportunities to network and celebrate throughout the week.
Daily prizes will be awarded in both gross and net categories, adding further incentive alongside the quest for national glory.
The Beachcomber Nations Golf Cup is expected to attract amateur golfers seeking a destination event that combines championship golf, international camaraderie and the hospitality of Mauritius, with guests also able to extend their stay after the tournament to explore the island.
