With Glastonbury on pause in 2026 for its traditional fallow year, Opodo has looked at incoming search travel data to see which UK festivals music fans are heading to instead.
According to Opodo‘s latest travel data, music tourism remains popular this summer, with fans set to travel from across Europe and the US to the UK to get their live music fix.
Where are travelers heading for UK summer festivals this year?
BST Hyde Park is London’s major multi-day musical festival across 3 weeks with global artists over several weekends. Tickets for Pitbull’s BST Hyde Park sold out show (10th July) have been the most popular, but who is the most eager to see him headline?

International searches for travel to London between the 9th – 12th July show American travelers take the top spot (18%), followed Spain (8%), Germany (8%) and France (8%).

Austria and Germany also look ready to show up with searches for travel to the UK up by +25% compared to the same dates as last year.
Over the August bank holiday weekend, Reading and Leeds Festival (26th – 31st August) will be hosting some of the biggest musical acts, including Raye and Charli XCX, who are headlining both events.
Flight searches to London, Birmingham and Manchester airports are up with international interest from Americans (14%) followed by Spanish travelers (7%)
For those looking to venture beyond the UK music festival scene, Europe offers in the meantime an incredible lineup of sought-after music events this summer:
