London Southend Airport is back on the radar for Southeast holidaymakers.

The airport has resumed holiday flight operations.

This month easyJet returned to flying from London Southend.

It is operating to Malaga six times a week, Palma four times a week and Faro twice a week using an A320 aircraft.

“London Southend Airport is delighted to welcome back passengers for the first flights. People living locally, in London and across the east of England can now get back to quick and east travel,” CEO Glyn Jones said.

“We’d like to thank our truly outstanding team for all their efforts in making sure we’re ready to welcome back passengers.”

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK Country Manager said: “We are proud to serve our customers from London Southend once again with more choice and great value fares.”
