London travel top of Americans’ holiday wish list
London travel is the top long-haul choice for American travelers, according to Allianz Partners USA‘s latest survey.
It reviewed almost three million itineraries for roundtrip flights from US airports over Christmas.
The insurer says London is the third most popular international destination behind Cancun and San Jose Del Cabo.
It is the first time a London vacation is in the top three since the survey began in 2015.
“Last spring, we reported a staggering 600% increase in summer travel to Europe,” says Daniel Durazo, external communications director at Allianz Partners USA.
“It’s wonderful to see that trend endure with the resurgence of London travel for the holidays.”
