Saturday, 02 Mar, 2006 0

Lydia Dearden and Andy Tilby have accepted senior purchasing roles at lowcostsbeds.com.

Dearden, formerly overseas operations director at Airtours, becomes group purchasing director at the online firm run by Paul Evans. She will focus on the eastern Mediterranean and long haul destinations.

Tilby, whose background includes five years with Airtours and six years as Thomas Cook vice-president international purchasing, joins as purchasing director heading the company’s buying team in the western Mediterranean.

Both previously worked with Evans, now CEO of lowcostbeds.com, who said: “We will not stop until we are the best bed buying team for independent agents.”
