Luxor Taxi

A friend and i have just come back from a week resort holiday in Luxor, we are two girls with alot of experience of independent travelling.
If you find a cheap deal going to Luxor but you dont want to join a big tour group my advise is to book a taxi and be in control of your day or days without having to wait around.

your hotel will have fixed rates for the taxis, but if you deal with him direct is cheaper, we worked out that 25 egyptian pounds an hour was a fair rate.
Not only did we have a relaxing holiday we also got to see all the things we wanted.
