Luxury cruise opertor to sell through trade
Luxury operator Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, a sister company to Red Carnation Hotels, has started selling through travel agents for the first time since its launch into the UK market in June 2010.
The operator, which has been selling direct to the public to the UK for the past 14 months, has increased capacity by 20% this year and added new itineraries to Vietnam and Cambodia for 2012.
Director of UK trade sales Paul Melinis said: “We want to be able to offer our valued trade partners the opportunity to earn the kind of commission and indeed pride and repeat business that goes with selling a luxury, well-respected product like Uniworld."
Uniworld offers over 500 departures sailing on 13 rivers in 20 countries throughout Europe, Russia, Egypt, China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
