Luxury villa specialists at home with Travelink
Leading independent luxury villa and golf holiday operator Algarve Agency have become the latest client to sign with Travelink Systems Limited for an integrated booking system with maximum flexibility.
“We need software that is easy to use, fast and versatile so we can tailor our holidays to suit every customer personally. After six weeks of testing Travelink, we are satisfied the system can deliver our requirements – and cope with the demands of a steadily expanding business.” said Algarve Agency MD Andrew Killeen.
His family-run company has been providing quality breaks in southern Portugal and south west Spain since 1980. Last year their turnover topped £3 million. The business has been built on a love of the region and a commitment to the personal touch. The Travelink signing came in the wake of a system failure with a rival’s Windows-based software.
Ceri Jones, chairman of Travelink, said: “It is great to welcome the Algarve Agency to our client list. We share their values of delivering great, customised service and we know our support and development capabilities will justify their decision in the months and years to come.”
The Algarve Agency is the latest in a long list of prestige tour operators to sign up for Travelink’s groundbreaking system that integrates reservations, marketing, administration and accounting with operations, resort staff and overseas agents. Travelink have recently expanded their staff base and relocated to larger premises to service their growing clientele.
Recent signings include heritage ski specialist Erna Low and luxury market leader Elegant Resorts.
“The word is out that Travelink can deliver the goods,” says Ceri Jones, “In a market where broken IT promises are common and costly, we have a proven track record – and that counts for a lot.”
