MagicBand+ to debut on Disney Cruise Line sailings
Disney’s MagicBand+ tech used at its theme parks is coming to the high seas.
The wearable tech will become available on Disney Cruise Line sailings.
It will be called DisneyBand+ and initially launched on select Disney Wish sailings.
DisneyBand+ will allow guests to check in, open doors, pay for items, and offers interactive elements for some activities.
Kida can use their DisneyBand+ to access Disney’s Oceaneer Club and Scuttle’s Cove on Castaway Cay.
It will be an optional add-on and comes in three Disney Cruise Line-exclusive designs.
The DisneyBand+ can be ordered on the DCL website or app up to 11 days before departure and a limited number will be available on board the ship.
Disney Cruise Line celebrate 25 years of sailing with its Silver Anniversary at Sea events this summer.
