Magnuson to unveil low-cost reservation system in US
Magnuson Worldwide, which claims to be the world’s largest hotel services company, plans to roll out a low-cost global reservations platform in the US this month.
Following the UK launch last October, the CRS1 reservation system will be presented at the Hotel Electronic Distribution Network Association (HEDNA) Conference in New Orleans on January 16.
CRS1 will initially be offered to select US hotels and comes with a free hotel property management system PMS1, with no long-term contracts or monthly fees.
Flat fees per transaction will be charged with volume-based pricing.
Within CRS1, rate and availability changes can be made across all GDS channels including Sabre and Amadeus, and direct interface with Google Hotel Finder, Expedia, Orbitz and social media platforms.
The company claims the system can help hotels cut CRS transaction costs by up to 90%.
Headquartered in London and Spokane, WA, Magnuson’s core services are in distribution technology, hotel branding and marketing.
