Malaysia full reopening proposed
Malaysia is set to fully open international borders to all vaccinated travellers in March. The national recovery council recommended ‘completely’ reopening borders without quarantine restrictions as soon as March 1.
A final decision will be made by the Malaysian cabinet. The council accepted the need for pre-departure and on arrival testing.
Malaysia has kept borders firmly shut for nearly two years apart from a limited travel bubble with Singapore and a tourism bubble in Langkawi.
