Malaysia’s newest budget airline is nearly ready to take off.
MYAirline received its air operator certificate last week from the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.
It is still in the pre-launch planning stage but could start flying in the last quarter of 2022.
Airline CEO Rayner Teo said it would operate three Airbus A320-200 aircraft, initially on domestic routes.
It aims to launch international services in the future.
MYAirline hasn’t disclosed what routes it will fly first.
