Man gets 30 years for cruise ship murder
A cruise ship guest was handed a 30 year prison sentence for killing his wife during an Alaska cruise in 2017.
Kenneth Manzanares had pleaded guilty to second-degree murder of wife Kristy during the cruise. She was beaten to death after the couple argued, the court case heard. The couple, along with their children and other family members, were sailing aboard the Emerald Princess.
Acting US Attorney Bryan Wilson says Manzanares 43, showed ‘chilling neglect for human life.’
