Many airlines may struggle to survive until vaccines roll out
The insolvency filing of Norwegian Air has taken the number of failed or bankrupt airlines to 42 – and there could be many more to come before the global travel market recovers.
The global availability of vaccines to help kick start the industry may come too late for possibly dozens more airlines which may not be able to survive through mid-2021.
