Many US hotels unlikely to reopen after pandemic
A ‘significant number’ of US hotels that temporarily closed in the spring as bookings dried up because of the coronavirus pandemic are unlikely to reopen.
Many have been unable to make debt payments and face permanent closure, including well-known names in New York City, Los Angeles and Chicago.
