Marriott International is expanding its presence in Mexico with a St. Regis branded hotel coming to Los Cabos.
The St. Regis Los Cabos is slated for a 2021 opening and will feature 120 guestrooms and 60 residences in Quivira, an exclusive residential community.
It becomes the company’s third St. Regis property in Mexico, after Mexico City and Punta Mita.
"Thanks to an increase in affluent national and international travelers, Los Cabos’ profile and luxury landscape has grown rapidly in the past years, creating an ideal opportunity for St. Regis," said Laurent De Kousemaeker, chief development officer, Caribbean and Latin America, Marriott International.
All 120 guestrooms will feature oceans views and the brand’s St. Regis Butler Service.
Three signature dining venues are planned along with a spa, fitness and wellness center, swimming pools, saltwater lagoon and luxury cabanas.
The hotel will form part of the 1,850-acre master-planned luxury Quivira community which comprises a private beach club, village center, nature reserves, and more than 20 miles of scenic walking and biking trails.
Marriott currently operates 69 hotels in Mexico under its various brands including The Ritz-Carlton, JW Marriott, Sheraton, Westin, Le Méridien, Aloft and AC Hotels by Marriott.
