Saturday, 05 Oct, 2011 0

Karen Bolinger has been appointed CEO of Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau, replacing Sandra Chipchase, who resigned in July to take up a position as the inaugural CEO of Destination New South Wales.

In her most recent role, Bolinger was the general manager strategy and marketing for the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW.

Prior to this, she worked at the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau, where she held the position of general manager for seven years.

She has also been director of sales and marketing for the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney and director of sales for the Renaissance Sydney Hotel.
