Melbourne renews Reed’s AIME contract
MELBOURNE – The Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau has contracted Reed Travel Exhibitions to run the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME) for the next five years.
News of the contract extension – the event is now in its 18th year – came as event director Rosemarie Sama indicated that this year’s event would be the best ever in terms of buyers and exhibitor numbers.
A record number of buyers (527 from 33 countries) are checking out 800 exhibitor stands, including 195 new exhibitors.
Sama said there is a greater diversity of companies, products and services at this year’s show.
New exhibitors include Lufthansa German Airlines, Delta Airlines, Seoul Tourism, Visit London and the Leading Hotels of the World.
AIME 2011 will be held in Melbourne on February 15-16.
