Mesa Air Group spreads its wings to Europe
US regional airline Mesa Air is planning a European joint venture after striking a deal with London based Gramercy Associates Ltd. The JV will seek an Air Operator’s Certificate in the European Union and plans to fly CRJ-900 aircraft.
It hopes to begin operations by the end of 2021 under a capacity purchase agreement model, which may be similar to its US operations flying for major network carriers.
