Monarch adds winter flight to Lyon

Monarch will introduce a scheduled route from London Gatwick to Lyon this winter.

On sale from Friday, the flight will launch on December 27 and run until April 11.

The airline previously operated a charter flight on this route.

The flight leaves Gatwick at 07.10, meaning keen skiers can be on the slopes just after lunch.

Fares, including taxes, starting from £29.99 one way.
