Monarch has taken delivery of a new Airbus A320 aircraft to be based at Leeds Bradford.
The addition will allow the airline to operate its first full summer programme to 12 new destinations from the Yorkshire airport.
It is the first in a series of deliveries which will see the airline’s fleet expand from 32 aircraft to 38 by October 2013.
A second similar A320, to be delivered in April, will also be based at Leeds Bradford.
