Monty Halls to speak at Advantage cruise conference
Monty Halls has been confirmed as the keynote speaker at the Advantage Travel Partnership’s sixth dedicated Cruise Conference.
The event takes place on March 3-4 at the Novotel Hotel in Southampton.
Attendees will be going onboard the new MSC Bellisima in a preview sailing on the Sunday evening.
In partnership with Silversea Cruises, Monty will address the Advantage Cruise Conference to talk about his life story and his personal experiences from past expeditions around the world.
He is a former Royal Marines Officer who worked for Nelson Mandela during the peace process in the early nineties then left the forces to pursue a career in expeditions, travel journalism, and marine biology.
Advantage senior commercial manager Claire Brighton said: "Monty Halls is a fantastic speaker and we’re delighted he can join us to talk about the destinations he has travelled to and the importance of looking after our world and environment.
"The cruise industry is important to our members, as it is a sector that continues to grow, this conference will allow our cruise champions and members that are new to the cruise business to be inspired, develop greater knowledge and new contacts to grow their cruise businesses and stay ahead of their competition.
"The opportunity to see a new ship, MSC Bellisima, on its first visit to the UK will certainly be a big draw and a highlight for delegates attending."
